Welcome to the Rubicon Prep study application at https://app.rubiconprep.study (the "App"), operated by Rubicon Prep. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App, including all content, functionality, and services offered through it. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of terms
Your use of the App constitutes your agreement to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
2. Accounts and use of the App
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials confidential.
- The App is provided for your personal, non-commercial test preparation, or for classroom use by schools that have enrolled you.
- You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose, scrape or copy its content, share paid content, reverse engineer it, or interfere with its operation.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Paid features are billed as described at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel at any time from your billing settings and keep access through the end of the paid period.
4. Content
All lessons, questions, videos, and other materials in the App are owned by Rubicon Prep or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Any content you submit (for example, support messages) grants us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it to operate and improve the App.
5. YouTube API Services
Some staff-only features of the App use YouTube API Services to publish our instructional videos to our YouTube channel. By using those features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge that Google's Privacy Policy applies to data handled by YouTube. Our use of YouTube data is described in our Privacy Policy, including how to revoke our access through the Google security settings page.
6. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee any particular score improvement, nor the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the App or its content.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rubicon Prep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rubicon Prep, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
